L'associazione Compagnons Bâtisseurs, partner di Lunaria, sta cercando diversi volontari per 7 progetti ESC per un periodo di 10/12 mesi, da settembre/ottobre 2019 a Giugno/Agosto 2020.

1) Ecole des Petits Chemin
Activity dates: 15/09/2019 – 30/06/2020

Project description: The « Collectif des Petits Chemins » is a non-profit association and school based in Lessive, a village located in the French community of Belgium. Its aim is to promote the new pedagogies tailored made according with the kids’ personalities and using the natural environment.

We are looking for 2 VOLUNTEERS

2) Maison de la Culture Famenne-Ardenne
Activity dates: 15/09/2019- 30/06/2020

Project description: The Association “Maison de la Culture Famenne-Ardenne” (MCFA) has the mission to spread the culture among a broad public by offering activities under various shapes and through different ways during which people can share and discover in order to reach a cohesive and dynamic cultural group in the community. The volunteer would be more directly involved in the animation and technical teams.

We are looking for 1 VOLUNTEER

3) Trait d’Union Inclusion- Association des Compagnons Bâtisseurs

Activity dates: 01/10/2019 – 30/09/2020

Project description: The “Association des Compagnons Bâtisseurs”, aka CBB, is a non-profit, non-political Youth Organisation recognised by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation of Belgium. The organisation offers different kinds of activities, mainly based on volunteering and non-formal education: local and international work-camps, youth exchanges, medium and long term voluntary services, leisure time activities for and with disabled people. Our ESC volunteer will be actively involved in our activities, from the preparation to the evaluation, and her/his role will mainly be to facilitate, together with CBB leaders and other CBB volunteers, the participation of people with fewer opportunities or disabilities.

We are looking for 1 VOLUNTEER

4) Centre Culturel Genappe
Activity dates: 01/10/2019-30/09/2020

Project description: The « Genappe cultural centre » proposes a cultural project oriented toward the fight against any type of social isolation and the promotion of the territory’s specificities. The volunteers will be carrying different tasks at the cultural centre, at the youth centre, at the Monty (intercultural and creative space), in the “Genappe in transition” movement.

We are looking for 3 VOLUNTEERS

5) Foyer l’Aubépine

Activity dates: 01/10/2019-30/09/2020

Project description: Aubépine’s team supports daily 15 youngsters encountering all sorts of difficulties, in dangerous situation (health or security), lacking educational support due to their familial environment or to their behavior. The organization hosts minors from 3 up to 18 years benefitting from a right of protection and deal with their relatives. The 2 volunteers will participate in the daily activities organized in the association.

We are looking for 2 VOLUNTEERS

6) AMO Le Cercle

Activity dates: 01/10/2019-30/09/2020

Project description: The organisation “Le Cercle” is part of what is called, in Belgium, a non-constraint help to youth (AMO – Aide en Milieu Ouvert). The volunteer will help to support one specific project called “Chacun sa yourte”, a pilot project addressing school drop outs from an alternative perspective. Its target group is young people aged 15 years old or less and about to drop out.

We are looking for 1 VOLUNTEER

7) Archeoparc Malagne
Activity dates: 01/09/2019-31/08/2020

Project description: Malagne Archéoparc is a non-profit organisation managing a Gallo-roman archaeological site since 1993. Its aims are to enhance and protect the heritages, to pass on and share knowledges about Gallo roman history through know-hows and techniques,to make the past alive through scientific researches based on experimental archaeology, through animals living on site, through crafts(wo)men gatherings; through workshops such as bread baking, forging… and rediscovering of old techniques The volunteer’s tasks will be to help in mostly manual tasks: gardening, fixing fences, pruning, building shelters and bridgefoot, taking care of the animals; and pedagogical tasks: helping the pedagogical staff with groups of children visiting, supporting during the re-enactement event, showing how to bake bread, forge with traditional techniques. 

We are looking for 2 VOLUNTEERS

IMPORTANT: all organizations mentioned above except CBB are still in the process of accreditation but the budget is already available thanks to CBB’s frame agreement with the Belgian NA.
